Hi! I’m Carter-Rai, founder and CEO of Lava Lab Co., and I’m so glad you’re here!

I started Lava Lab Co. at 14 years old as a way to help fund my All-Star Cheer season. What began as a fundraiser quickly grew into something much bigger—a creative business that has taught me valuable lessons about entrepreneurship, leadership, and hard work.

With the support of my mom, Candace, I’ve created a candle-making experience that is fun, creative, and designed for everyone to enjoy. Every hand-dyed sand wax is made with the goal of helping you create something unique and one-of-a-kind.

Running Lava Lab Co. has helped me grow in so many ways. It has pushed me outside of my comfort zone, given me the opportunity to connect with people at markets, share my products, and learn what it takes to build a business from the ground up. One of my favorite parts is seeing all the amazing candles our customers create and hearing how much they enjoy the experience.
